How do I care for my new item?

Washing instructions vary between items so always make sure to check the label sewn into your garment before washing!

Where are your clothes made? Tell me more about your manufacturing

Laura makes some of the pieces herself in her studio, and alongside this we work with freelance seamstresses in the UK who set their own wage and working hours!

Knitwear pieces are produced by machine in Germany by a small factory.

Read more over on our meet the team page to meet the lovely freelance and small business faces that we work with!

What are your clothes made of?

We use a mixture of fabrics in our designs. Some have been digitally printed using original designs, these are printed in London, UK using a waterless print process that uses inks that are ECOCERT certified and meet the OEKO-TEX® ECO PASSPORT standard.

Some fabrics are sourced from some of Laura’s favourite fabric shops, we love to support independent sewing shops when we can! Most importantly, we use remnant and deadstock fabrics whenever we can too!

In every product description you will find information about the fabric used, so you can make an informed choice when buying your clothes.

Can I cancel my order?

Laura Shannon can cancel your order within 24 hours of placing the order if it hasn't already been shipped. Unfortunately after this your order cannot be cancelled as it is most likely that your order is being prepped for delivery as we aim to ship all orders out as quickly as possible.

The piece I want to buy is out of stock

Collections are produced in small, limited quantities. For this reason, an item may only be restocked if it’s super popular and there’s a very large demand for it. Alongside this, some of the clothes are made from dead stock/end of line fabrics and these come in limited quantities, so once it’s gone - it’s gone!

So if you have your eye on something, make sure you snap it up quickly to avoid being disappointed because it may never return!

Let's talk shipping & packaging

We've made some major changes to our packaging in order to be more sustainable! Read about our packaging below:

  • Our garment bags that we store and send our clothes in are made from a minimum of 30% post-consumer waste plastic and can be recycled again! (Please keep these away from babies and children to avoid any danger of suffocation.)

  • Our swing tags are made from a 300gsm paper and you can pop them in your regular paper/cardboard recycling!

  • Our mailing boxes are not only cutesy pink, but they’re made from high quality cardboard which means they’re recyclable and plastic free! They can also be used again because they’re very robust, we suggest using them when selling on secondhand clothing apps or even for birthday presents!

  • Our mailing bags are made from high-quality, eco-friendly 100gsm natural sack kraft paper meaning that they’re recyclable, biodegradable and plastic-free! They’re extremely durable which means you can reseal them and use again if you need to make an exchange or a return.

  • We’ve switched to using paper based and eco-friendly packaging tape to make sure that it can be recycled by our customers easily at home! Just pop this in your normal recycling alongside your cardboard and paper.

Future changes we're hoping to make to be more sustainable

Bringing our knitwear production closer to home - currently our knitted scarves and jumpers are manufactured in Germany and although the quality is *chefs kiss* we know that it would be better if it was produced in the UK like the rest of our clothing. So this is something that we’re hoping to do in the future.
